Stealing art is not new in the art world

but stealing whole series and whole concepts outright with direct quotes, and putting your name on them, as if they were original works, would seem to rely on the assumption that NO ONE IN YOUR COUNTRY EVER LEAVES TO SEE THE WORLD.

Maybe that FRENCH art world is insular...
