Andy Messerschmidt Agroccult
Andy has been working with Telephonebooth since 2004 and has shown at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis also in numerous solo and group shows in LA, Chicago, New York, and Kansas City.
Agroccult is an ongoing series of some 600 10" x 10″ oil, acrylic and mixed media works on paper. The seed idea for this painting "revolves around the landscape acting as a stage for the playing out of occult phenomena" and then how that stage is worked out in different forms of architecture and human activity.
As always, there will be a wide range of reality based and visionary working artists participating in the latest incarnation of this annual show.

Somewhere on the nets there's a picture of the tree stump I've been wrestling with for the last few weeks.
That's generally how its been going this year.
Lots of digging on things that need to move.
We had a polar vortex winter and after that, just busy.
While the gallery show program has been on hiatus,
gallery projects have been ongoing and relentless.
Mostly in the background, infrastructure improvements,
stuff to help things work better.
